I signed up for Her Season of Rest because, as a business owner and a woman who spends her days supporting others, I know how important self-care is — and yet I’m often the last to fully practice it myself. Heading into the winter months, which have always felt heavy and challenging for me, I was longing to learn how to truly rest and embrace the season rather than push through it. From the very beginning, Cathy held such beautiful, intentional space. Her genuine care, calm presence, and natural ability to guide allowed me to soften, slow down, and feel deeply supported — both by her and by the circle of women. I especially loved how thoughtfully she wove in different modalities and voices, offering so many nourishing ways to tend to our inner worlds. Each gathering left me feeling profoundly grateful for the time I gave myself. The experience has genuinely shifted how I move through my days. Even during very busy or stressful moments now, I’m more able to pause, breathe, reflect, and return to a sense of peace. Her Season of Rest didn’t just give me rest — it gave me a new way of relating to my everyday life.

Cathy’s 3-month program allowed me to adjust to a life of retirement, heal and grow. She helped me redefine my situation in life and provided tools that revealed my values and priorities. Cathy helped me break through some of the obstacles and blocks that were hijacking my overall health. She got me thinking about and taking proactive action toward achieving my goals. She is incredibly knowledgeable about nutrition, yoga, meditation, breathing, and other practices that I have adopted to help me with my progress. Cathy provided me with the knowledge and tools to be able to get out there and find the information I need to continue this path. Plus, we had lots of fun and laughed a lot. This is really key.

I attended one of Cathy’s Wellness Workshops and it was fabulous! It is amazing how you can fill up your soul with so much positive energy in 1-1/2 hours. The connections I made with the ladies in my circle were amazing & strong women, who too very much needed this workshop and time for themselves. In our initial health consultation Cathy set the tone by creating a safe and secure space for me to explore my wellness. She asks thoughtful questions and listens with intent. Her approach is influenced by her experience as a yoga teacher. She understands the importance of breath and movement and incorporates this knowledge seamlessly. The Wheel of Wellness Workshop truly was a“restorative” time set aside to center, reflect and share. The experiences I enjoyed were enhanced by the experiences of the other attendees, most of whom we were meeting for the first time. I loved the connections I made. Her Season of Rest was a highlight of the year for me. Cathy gave us three days of relaxation and pampering enhanced with self-awareness exercises and invitations to creativity. Each day had a theme and a special presentation. Cathy is a knowledgeable and generous leader. In our 3 Her Season of Rest gatherings Cathy cultivated a nurturing, comfortable, and creative environment for us to gather and retreat. She put together a box for each of us with treasures to support us along this journey of rest. Our time together never felt rushed and yet Cathy had organized a variety of activities during each retreat, from time in nature, meditation with sound healing, yoga nidra, card making, journaling, and healthy homemade lunches.
