R&R

Join me one Sunday a month.

During a time of year when nature directs us inward to pause, reflect, rest, dream and embrace the art of slowing down… we tend to want to still live “like it’s summer”, focus on time, calendars, and hurry through the days — while we add more to our already overloaded schedules.

Or, maybe you feel less energy and lack of motivation due to shorter days and less light.

When we honor the season and always include rest as a practice back to our greatest source of strength, we feel less tense, more clarity and always more capable of getting it all done with a sense of ease rather than effort.

Rest is your greatest source of strength.

Join me to pause and nourish yourself while you take this time to relax in long held restorative poses supported with props, then rest deeply into yoga nidra, a yogic nap that rebalances and restores your energy. Leave feeling refreshed and renewed.

Use your membership or just drop in - there is always room for rest.

A Return to The Heart

A Return to The Heart

A Return to the Heart is a women-centered, 2.5-hour journey where rest serves as your inner compass, leading you back to your authentic nature and truest self. In a world of endless noise and distraction, this is an invitation to come home through restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra—to soften, listen, and attune to the whispers of your heart, remembering who you’ve always been.

Discover for yourself why slowing down your physical, mental, and emotional bodies allows you to reconnect and remember what is already your true nature. Leave with a more gentle and kinder way of living into your life – with a sense of calm, clarity, and ease.

For this experience, it is optional for you to bring a journal, something to write with and an eye-pillow. Wear cozy and comfortable clothes (to move in) and socks (to rest in). All props will be provided, but feel free to bring what you would like to support your practice — like your favorite cozy soft blanket.

Also bring a water bottle and arrive a few minutes early to set up your rest nest and feel centered (not hurried or rushed) before we begin.

Sign up soon as these offerings fill up quickly. If you find yourself always saying “I need more rest”, I gently encourage you to click the button below for all the details and the link to register and pay. You heart and soul will thank you.

Grateful Rest: A Yoga Nidra Workshop to Inspire Gratitude and Ease

Rest is a beautiful interruption in a world with no pause button.

~Tricia Hersey

Winter reminds us to turn inward and slow our pace.

Join Cathy Sullivan to celebrate the season with an invitation to pause, be still, and rest in gratitude.

This 90-minute gathering will open the heart and calm the mind with gentle movement and breathwork – so you can settle into the deep rest of Yoga Nidra [a guided meditative technique]. To close, we will integrate the benefits of stillness into creating a personal Sankalpa – a heartfelt intention to carry with you into 2026.

This time is for all and no yoga experience is needed. Dress comfortably and warm. Feel free to bring anything else to support you, like an extra blanket or pillow.  Bring water, and a journal (optional). All props are provided and tea will be served.

Space is limited, sign up soon.

Rise & Bloom: A Women's Full Day Spring Retreat

Pause before the threshold of a new season.

A full-day retreat to rest and reclaim your freedom and joy.

Ever wonder what it would feel like to step away from all the ways you “normally” spend your day? Do you find yourself operating on autopilot more and more? Do you constantly crave more time and never find it?

“Bring your Exhaustion, Curiosity, Uncertainty, Wisdom, Fear, Courage, Power, Grief, Joy, and Restlessness. Bring all of you.” ~ Octavia Raheem

Spend time with other women seeking the same and practice a variety of ways to actively and passively rest your body and mind. Feel more present and aware. Enjoy the experience of connection and community. All important aspects to living a healthy and vibrant lifestyle.

Here’s a snapshot of how we will enjoy our day together. Tea, snacks, lunch and journals are included.

  • Arrive and settle in between 8:30-9:00am

  • There will be tea and refreshments as you get settled in to your rest nest with all the props provided.

  • Welcome each other into this sacred circle of women together.

Rest

  • Meditation to center and fully arrive.

  • Set an intention (Sankalpa) and learn why this supports your practice and your purpose in life.

  • Benefits of pranayama - breath work - throughout the day.

  • Restorative Yoga - settle into safe, supported and cozy restorative poses designed to allow your body to rest and let go of held tension. No yoga experience needed. Floor based and accessible for all.

  • Yoga Nidra - A meditation while you lay down and deeply rest. You remain slightly aware of my voice, while you travel through the physical and emotional layers (koshas) of the body, pointing you more and more towards your true, most authentic self.

  • When you take the time to rest, you awaken with more clarity and focus.

Release

  • We’ll step outside to mindfully walk in nature on the beautiful and sacred grounds of Alnoba.

  • Embody the healing benefits of nature’s medicine without any distractions.

  • Optional time for journaling on your own in nature (weather permitting) to reflect.

  • Lunch together or solo - either inside or outside (weather permitting).

Rise

  • Creative project - crafting a personal flower crown to celebrate the season and to remember the queen that you are.

  • Closing rest practice (more yoga Nidra) for renewal as you rise back into your life more present and aware to what matters to you most.

  • Reflections and sharing time - optional.

You’ll leave feeling more grounded and have the capacity to step back into all that is waiting for you with a sense of patience, resilience and ease.

ROOTED IN REST a time for women

Join Cathy Sullivan, Wellness Together SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19 3:30-5:30p.m. $45pp (after 10/16 $55) at Repose Yoga Studio, Newburyport

Embrace the art of rest. Redefine what rest means for you and leave with more gentle and kinder ways to living softer and feeling stronger.

Learn what rest is and why it’s the foundational remedy for worn-out women suffering from a rest-deficit. Sleep and rest are not the same thing, although many of us confuse the two. Living a life that is rooted in rest is so much more than a good night’s sleep. It’s the vital ingredient for women to live in harmony with their natural rhythms, seasons and transitions.

Rest should equal restoration.

Your cozy experience will include: best rest practices, how resting-to-thrive in 7 key areas of your life will change everything. Enjoy restorative yoga, yoga Nidra, time to pause, journal (optional), sip tea & connect with others. Dress comfy, bring your favorite mug, an extra blanket and journal (optional).

Prepare to R E S T.

“Rest is a radical response to living in a wake-centric world”.

Click below to register and a link will be sent for you to submit payment.
